- Layer Cake (2004) [Paul the Boatman]: Tortured to death with a hot iron by Dragan Micanovic (off-screen). His body is later seen, lying on a table, when Daniel Craig discovers it.
- Rogue One (2016) [Jav Mefran]: Shot twice in the side with a laser blast in the film's climactic battle, while Francis is attempting to defend Riz Ahmed.

- Britannic (2000) [Reilly]: Shot twice in the chest by a sailor.
- Ultimate Force: The Killing House (2002) [Lofty]: Shot by Jamie Draven during a bank robbery.
- Game of Thrones: What is Dead May Never Die (2012) [Yoren]: Stabbed through the back of the neck with a sword by Fintan McKeown after being shot in the chest by a crossbowmen and being stabbed several times with pikes which the soldiers use to hold him in position. he keep stable after his death until McKeown kicks him to the ground.
- Misfits: Episode 4.5 (2012) [Dan]: Dies of cancer, after Nathan McMullen convinces Charlie Murphy to stop using her powers to keep him alive.
- The Bible: Kingdom (2013) [King Saul]: Commits suicide by throwing himself on his sword in the battlefield.
- The Bastard Executioner: The Bernadette Maneuver / Cynllwyn Bernadette (2015) [Absolon]: Stabbed in the chest by Timothy V. Murphy.
- Death in Paradise: Swimming in Murder (2015) [Stevie Smith]: Electrocuted after Nick Moran puts a block of ice under a lighting stand which then falls into the pool that Francis was swimming in.
- Into the Badlands: Requiem for the Fallen (2019) [Magnus]: Neck snapped by Eugenia Yuan when Francis is fighting her, Lewis Tan, Daniel Wu, and Nick Frost.
- The Witcher: Voleth Meir (2021) [Yurga]: Burned to death by Chris Fulton, along with his wife (Anna-Louise Plowman) and son (Jack Wolfe) sometime before the episode airs and after Much More where we last see them alive.
- Kin: Episode 2.08 (2023) [Brendan "Bren" Kinsella]: Shot once in the head with a handgun by his brother (Aidan Gillen), in front of Sam Keeley. His body is later discovered by Charlie Cox and Emmett J Scanlan, who consider what to do next.
- Desperate Measures: Episode 4 (2022) [Mal Taylor]: Dies off-screen after being shot in the previous episode by a masked man during an armed robbery. Amanda Abbington and Sunetra Sarker put pressure on the wound to try to save Francis, but Jonathan Nyati later informs Amanda that he died in hospital.
