Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze (1991) [Shredder]: Crushed to death by falling debris from a pier while trying to kill the Turtles, after transforming from Shredder into Super Shredder. François plays Shredder while Super Shredder is played by Kevin Nash, but is the same character.
Beverly Hills Ninja (1997) [Izumo]: Shot to death by Nathaniel Parker for placing ones side of the bill.
Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) [Four Father Li Lum Chung]: Shot to death by Dana Lee and his men during a shootout after Dana realizes that he was betrayed by Jet Li.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020) [Mr. Keo]: Face peeled off with a straight razor by Chris Messina, under the orders of Ewan McGregor. François was tied up and hanging upside down, alongside his family, when he is killed by Chris.

The Penguin: Great or Little Thing (2024) [Feng Zhao]: Shot once through the back of the head with a handgun by Robert Lee Leng, while François was attempting to hand Colin Farrell over to Cristin Milioti, as he was unaware that Robert was working with Colin.
