- Scared to Death (1947) [Laura Van Ee]: Dies of a heart attack following a systrmatic series of psychological torments engineered by Lee Bennett. Her body is shown lying in the morgue at the beginning of the movie; the rest of the film is a flashback leading up to her death, interrupted by fraquent cut-aways back to her body in the morgue as she narrates from beyond the grave.
