- Mirai Sentai Timeranger: To an Infinite Tomorrow (2001) [Tatsuya Asami/Captain Ryuya Asami]: Playing a dual role, Unknowingly shot by Yuji Kido's revolver in a struggle and later dies in Yuji's arms moments after asking the other rangers if he should be blamed for what he did since he was doing what they already were, which was to create a better future before lamenting that he died anyway just six years late. Originally, he was killed by Kōji Tobe in a battle against him at the hands of the injuries sustained by him while he is in the V-Rex before changing history. (Tatsuya survives the episode.)
