- The Jane Austen Book Club (2007) [Mama Sky]: Dies in a car accident.
Television Deaths[]
- Rehearsal for Murder (1982; TV film) [Monica Welles]: Hits her head on the corner of a bookcase during a struggle with William Russ. Her body (just a close-up of her arm) is shown being loaded onto a stretcher early in the movie, and her actual death is shown in a flashback near the end.
- Antony and Cleopatra (1983; TV film) [Cleopatra]: Commits suicide by letting an asp bite her on the chest. (I haven't seen this version, but we all know the story...)
- My Sister's Keeper (2002; TV film) [Helen Margaret Chapman]: Dies in the hospital after suffering a stroke, with her two daughters (Kathy Bates and Elizabeth Perkins) at her bedside. (For this role, Lynn was made up to look older than she actually was at the time.)
