Film Deaths[]
- Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002; animated) [Rain]: Providing the vocal effects of a female paint horse, Leslie is shot in the shoulder by the Colonel (voiced by James Cromwell) and falls into a lake. She is saved and comforted by Spirit (with his narration voiced by Matt Damon) until she dies of a fatal wound. She is later revived and reunited with Matt near the end of the movie.
- Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006) [Desiree]: Commits suicide by jumping from the roof of the hospital, after Will Arnett's death. We learn of her death when Jake Busey informs Patrick Fugit that she's in the suicide-afterlife with them (prompting Patrick to set out on a search for her); she is shown falling to the ground in a flashback when she tells Patrick how she died.
- Sex and Death 101 (2007) [Dr. Miranda Storm]: Hits her head on a potted plant after slipping on spilled champagne. (Thanks to Graeme)
- Trick 'r Treat (2007) [Emma]: Decapitated and dismembered (off-screen) by Quinn Lord; her severed limbs are shown afterwards when Tahmoh Penikett discovers them scattered around his front yard. (Thanks to Tommy)
- The Midnight Meat Train (2008) [Maya]: Stabbed in the chest, cut vertically across her chest and heart torn out by Tony Curran, as Bradley Cooper looks on in horror. She is devoured (of-screen) along with the other bodies. (Thanks to Matt and PortsGuy)
- Law Abiding Citizen (2009) [Sarah Lowell]: Killed in an explosion by a car bomb planted by Gerard Butler, as Jamie Foxx and Bruce McGill look on helplessly.
- Flight 7500 (2014) [Laura Baxter]: Deprived of oxygen after the plane she's traveling on suffers uncontrolled decompression. She remains on the plane unaware of her death until she "dies" again when her soul is collected by a spirit and her body is later shown after Jerry Ferrara, Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, and Nicky Whelan realize the truth about what happened on the plane.
- No Good Deed (2014) [Meg]: Hit in the head with a shovel by Idris Elba.

- Crossing Jordan: 33 Bullets (2007) [Detective Tallulah 'Lu' Simmons]: Shot in the stomach (off-screen) by a rioter while she's collecting evidence in an alley with Jerry O'Connell; she dies shortly afterwards in the ambulance, with Jill Hennessy by her side. (Thanks to PortsGuy)
- Kings: Chapter One (2009) [Katrina Ghent]: Killed off-screen in a car "accident" orchestrated by Susanna Thompson.
- The Following: Unmasked (2014) [Jana Murphy]: After being discovered as the mole that James Purefoy had within the FBI by Valerie Cruz , Leslie stabs Valerie and shortly after finds herself in a 'Mexican stand-off' with Kevin Bacon and Shawn Ashmore. Realizing that she was not going to escape she commits suicide by shooting herself in the side of her head.
- The Hindenburg Explodes! (2016) [Johanna Streubel]: Killed an airship explosion when Kevin McDonald accidentally activates the ship's self destruct button. (Played for comic effect.)
