- The Double Life of Veronique (1991) [Weronika/Veronique]: Playing a dual role as Polish choir soprano (Weronika) and a French music teacher (Veronique). Weronika collapses and dies of a heart attack onstage while giving a solo performance at a concert, seen through the camera's eye, which then zooms over the audience as her soul leaves her body. Her funeral is then seen. Veronique survives.
