His body is found later by Charles (Jacob Dudman) and Lord Darlington (Jeremy Crutchley). “The Madman” is stabbed multiple times with a broken spear- including a bowel-exposing slash across the stomach- before being felled with a final stab through the top of the skull by Lord Darlington (Jeremy Crutchley).
  • Primal: Vidarr (2022; animated) [Chieftain/Eldar]: Voice-acting a father-son pair of Viking warriors, “Eldar” is knocked off of a prehistoric vulture (one of a pair he and his father had subdued and were riding) by Spear (Aaron LaPlante), falling to his death on a rock in the middle of a river. The “Chieftain”, heavily wounded after being thrown from his own vulture mount- likewise by Spear-, despairs and lets himself be carried away by the river and drowned after seeing “Eldar”’s corpse. The “Chieftain” would afterwards be restored to life as a demonic entity in the next episode, ‘The Colossaeus, Part I’.
  • Primal: The Colossaeus (2022; animated) [Chieftain/Eldar]: The “Chieftain” is shown succumbing to blood loss from his wounds in the previous episode, ‘Vidarr’, and is about to be carried to Valhalla by the Valkyries, when he is instead seized by demons and dragged down to a more fiery underworld (a cross between Niflheim and Muspelheim?), where he is offered a chance of revenge for the loss of his family and brought back to life as a demonic entity by the demon that rules that domain. “Eldar”’s corpse is shown floating in a river of lava in said underworld. (Note that only the “Chieftain” has any speaking lines in this episode, so Fred is only credited for that role)
  • Primal: Echoes of Eternity (2022; animated) [Chieftain/Warrior/Villager]: Providing vocal effects (and a spoken line) for three characters, the “Chieftain” is dragged back to the hell he’d been damned to, having failed to (completely) achieve his vengeance against Spear (Aaron LaPlante) and Fang (vocal effects by Frank Welker), managing only to inflict ultimately minor burns on Fang and- though the burns he inflicted on Spear were ultimately fatal- he witnesses Mira (Laëtitia Eïdo) beating out the flames, and is thus cheated of seeing his foe expire, before his demonic master revokes his lava powers and drags him underground. The fates of “Warrior” and “Villager” are uncertain. (Appreciate enlightenment on this score- InspectorGregson )
