Film Deaths[]

Passengers (2008) [Claire Summers]: Killed in a plane crash, along with everyone else on board (seen in flashback). She appears as a ghost throughout the film, unaware she's dead or that she was on said doomed flight. She later joins Eric Clark's spirit in heading off into the afterlife (on coming to terms with her demise). (I haven't seen all of this but it's established most of the main cast turn out to be ghosts)
One Day (2011) [Emma]: Hit by a truck while riding her bicycle; her body is shown lying in the street afterward.
Les Miserables (2012) [Fantine]: Dies of tuberculosis, with Hugh Jackman by her bedside. She appears as a spirit to guide Hugh into the afterlife at the end of the movie.
Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) [White Queen]: Turned into a rust statue, trying to carry her rust statue sister Red Queen to safety, she gets caught by the rust wave. She is restored when the Grand Clock Engine and the Chronosphere are reconnected.
The Last Thing He Wanted (2020) [Elena McMahon]: Shot twice in her chest by Ben Affleck & falls backward over a cliff into the ocean.
The Witches (2020) [The Grand High Witch]: Eaten by her pet cat Hades, after being turned into a mouse, by her own potion. (See also Anjelica Huston for 1990 movie.)
