  • Thunder Over the Plains (1953) [Kirby]: Shot in the back by Lex Barker while Fess is trying to escape; he dies shortly afterwards as Randolph Scott kneels by his side.
  • Davy Crockett: King of the Wild Frontier (1955) [Davy Crockett]: Killed (off-screen) by Mexican soldiers during the attack on the Alamo.
