- Royal Deceit (Prince of Jutland) (1994) [Frovin]: Poisoned by Christian Bale, who then wraps his body in a carpet and leaves it to burn as the building is set on fire.
- Judge Dredd (1995) [Junior Angel]: Shot to death by Sylvester Stallone; there is an alternative scene, where he survives the shooting, so has his neck snapped when Stallone lifts him over Stallone's head then hurls him to the ground by the chain/rope wrapped around his neck following a fight (in which Stallone makes Ewan accidentally shoot his brother Phil Smeeton; Ewan was wearing disfigured makeup for this role).
- Mojo (1997) [Skinny]: Shot in the head by Aidan Gillen.
- The Reckoning (2002) [Simon Damian]: Murdered off-screen by Vincent Cassel's men. His body is later shown.
- AvP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) [Graeme Miller]: Dies (off-screen) when an alien bursts out of his chest after incubating in his body while he's "cocooned" to the wall; his body is shown afterwards when Sanaa Lathan discovers him.
- Jack the Giant Slayer (2013) [Wicke]: Eaten by one of the giants.
- Snowpiercer (2013) [Andrew]: Shot in the head by Alison Pill, after Alison suddenly pulls a machine-gun out of a basket of eggs.
- Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) [Expert]: Executed by hanging on the orders of Joel Edgerton, after Ewen gives him information he didn't care to hear.
- Wonder Woman (2017) [Charlie]: Dies (off-screen) in the space of time between the 1918 scenes and the modern day framing scenes.

- Strike Back 1.6 (2010) [Gerald Baxter]: Shot in the back by a Taliban sniper, he dies in Richard Armitage’s arms afterwards.
