- My Family: Mi Familia (Cafe con leche; East L.A.) (1995) [Chucho Sanchez]: Shot in the head by the police while his younger brother (Jonathan Hernandez) looks on in horror.
- Scorpion Spring (1996) [Astor]: Stabbed in the groin with a screwdriver by Angel Aviles.
- Paid in Full (2002) [Lulu]: Killed off-screen by an unknown assailant. His body is found by Wood Harris.
- La Linea - The Line (2009) [Pelon]: Shot in the head by Armand Assante as Andy Garcia and Ray Liotta look on.
- Superfly (2018) [Adalberto Gonzalez]: Executed by his mother (Renée Victor).
Television Deaths[]
- Miami Vice: The Home Invaders (1985) [Pete Romano]: Shot to death by both Edward James Olmos and Don Johnson (along with David Patrick Kelly and Paul Calderon) while Esai, David, and Paul are invading the home of Sylvia Miles' daughter.
- Magic City: The Sins of the Father (2013) [Carlos 'El Tiburon' Ruiz]: Drowned by Yul Vazquez after Esai shoots Yul in the stomach.
- From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series: There Will Be Blood (2015) [Amancio Malvado]: Killed when Eiza González decapitates a snake connected to Esai's lifeforce.
- Ozark: The Toll (2017) [Camino Del Rio]: Shot in the head by Lisa Emery with a shotgun.
- Titans: Nightwing (2019) [Slade Wilson/Deathstroke]: Stabbed in the chest with a sword by his daughter (Chelsea Zhang) at the end of a fight. (The character is later resurrected as a zombie by Franka Potente with her supernatural powers in the episode Super Super Mart, in which he is portrayed by an uncredited stunt double, and dies again after being stabbed in the eye by Lisa Ambalavanar.)
- How to Get Away with Murder: Stay (2020) [Jorge Castillo]: Stabbed to death by a prison inmate under orders from Amirah Vann and his daughter (Karla Souza).
Video Game Deaths[]
- True Crime: New York City (2005) [Captain Victor Navarro]: Falls out of a moving subway train at the end of a fight with Avery Waddell in the game's bad ending. (Esai survives in the game's good ending.)
