- Dragon Ball Z: A Hero's Farewell (2000; anime) [Future Trunks]: Shot in the chest by Cell (Dameon Clarke) via finger beam, in front of Vegeta (Christopher Sabat). Revived by the Dragon Balls in the episode, Goku's Decision.
- YuYu Hakusho: Out with a Bang (2004; anime) [Sakyo]: Crushed to death by falling debris after triggering the self-destruct of the arena.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: Combined Strength (2011; anime) [Solf J. Kimblee]: Devoured by Pride (Brittney Karbowski) after being mortally wounded by Heinkel (Bradley Campbell).
- Shiki (2012; anime) [Takatoshi Hirosawa]: Burned during sunlight along with the rest of the Shiki's after being dragged out of the sewers before being stabbed to death by Hasegawa (Christopher Sabat).
