- A Simple Favor (2018) [Davis]: Killed in a car crash while driving with Dustin Milligan; his death is revealed in a flashback when his wife (Anna Kendrick) tells Blake Lively, where it's implied the death may have been an intentional murder-suicide by Eric.
TV Deaths[]
- Smallville: Visage (2003) [Whitney Fordman]: Killed in an explosion, alongside Santo Lombardo, when a shell hits them during the war in Indonesia. Although it did appear at first Eric survived the blast with him returning to Smallville and seeing his family and friends until it was revealed "he" was one of the changeling forms of Lizzy Caplan. The real Eric's death was revealed when John Schneider tells Annette O'Toole and Tom Welling.
- Meteor Storm (2010) [Kyle Kemper]: Crushed under falling debris from a collapsing apartment building as Lara Gilchrist watches in shock.
- Vikings: The Lord Giveth (2020) [Erik the Red]: Stabbed in the chest with a pitchfork in a cottage by Victoire Dauxerre, after he tries to have sex with her.
Video Game Deaths[]
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla (2020) [Ivarr the Boneless]: Dies from his injuries following a duel with Magnus Bruun/Cecilie Stenspil. His body is later burned on a pyre on a boat later on.
