- The Ghost and the Darkness (1996) [Helena Patterson]: Mauled to death by a lion when it suddenly attacks her at a train station; the scene turns out to be Val Kilmer's dream sequence, and she survives the movie in reality.
- Cider with Rosie (1998) [Miss Flynn]: Commits suicide by drowning herself in a river.
- Scream 3 (2000) [Angelina Tyler]: Stabbed to death by "Ghostface" (Scott Foley) on a staircase in Lance Henriksen's mansion. Her body is shown afterwards when Courteney Cox and Parker Posey discover it. (NOTE: This was originally intended to be a fake-out death scene as she was supposed to be the second Ghostface).
- Young Adam (2003) [Cathie Dimly]: Drowned when she falls into the river, while Ewan McGregor looks on without helping her (knowing she can't swim). Her body is shown being pulled out of the water at the beginning of the movie by Ewan and Peter Mullan, and her death is shown in a flashback later on. (Nudity alert: Rear)

- Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badgers' Drift (1997) [Katherine Lacey]: Shot to death (off-camera) by her brother (Jonathan Firth), in a murder/suicide pact; we only hear the shots.
