  • Sailor Moon: The Sailor Senshi Die! The Tragic Final Battle (1993; anime) [Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter]: Uses her Supreme Thunder attack (which is amplied by the DD Girls' own electrical attacks) at point-blank range, killing herself and two of the DD Girls. Revived along with the rest of the Sailor Senshi in the next episode, albeit with amnesia. (For the English version, see Amanda Céline Miller)
  • Mobile Suit Victory Gundam: Vanquished Life, Blooming Life (1994; anime) [Maria Pure Armonia]: Shot dead by Tassilo Vago (Hidetoshi Nakamura). After Tassilo's death, her body was destroyed along with the former's ship by Uso (Daisuke Sakaguchi).
  • Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Countdown to Destruction! The Sailor Guardians' Last Battle (1997; anime) [Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter]: Dies when her Star Seed, along with those of Ami/Sailor Mercury (Aya Hisakawa), Minako/Sailor Venus (Rika Fukami), and Rei/Sailor Mars (Michie Tomizawa) gets taken by Sailor Galaxia (Mitsuko Horie), to the horror and despair of Usagi/Eternal Sailor Moon (Kotono Mitsuishi). Brought back to life in the final episode, Usagi's Love! The Moonlight Iluminates the Galaxy, after Usagi, as Princess Serenity, purifies Galaxia of Chaos.   • Seijuu Sentai Gingaman: Papa's Sudden Change (1998) [Hielahiela]: Slashed to death by BullTaurus' Bison Fierce Cut and Super Armour Shine Gingaioh's Great Galaxy Beast King Cut.
  • Naruto Shippuden: Minato's Death (2014; anime) [Kushina Uzumaki]: Stabbed by Kurama (Tesshō Genda) alongside Minato (Toshiyuki Morikawa) in order to protect Naruto (Junko Takeuchi). Before dying, she entrusts Naruto to Hiruzen (Hidekatsu Shibata).
