Embeth Davidtz in Thir13en Ghosts

Embeth Davidtz (1965 - )

Film Deaths[]

  • Bicentennial Man (1999) [Little Miss Amanda Martin / Portia Chaney]: Playing two genetic relatives (grandmother and granddaughter), she dies twice. (1) Her first character dies of old age in a nursing home with Robin Williams and her own granddaughter at her side (Embeth was made up to look older than she actually was at the time). (2) Her second character dies of old age beside Robin and holding hands after Kiersten Warren turns off her life-support (Embeth (and Robin) are made to look much older than actually were at the time). (Thanks to Hamish)
  • Thir13en Ghosts (2001) [Kalina Oretzia]: Crushed to death between the sliding glass walls after F. Murray Abraham locks her in the room. (Thanks to Thaddius, Germboygel, and Gary)
  • Fracture (2007) [Jennifer Crawford]: Dies after Anthony Hopkins has her life-support equipment turned off, several months after he shot her in the face which put her into a coma. (Thanks to ND and Eric)
  • The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) [Mary Parker]: Killed in a plane crash (off-screen), along with Campbell Scott. (Thanks to Tim and Tommy)
  • Paranoia (2013) [Dr. Judith Bolton]: Killed (off-screen) by Julian McMahon. Though her death is not mentioned, it is implied that Embeth is killed after betraying Gary Oldman and Julian being a personal henchman for Gary to cut loose ends.
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) [Mary Parker]: In an opening flashback that expands upon her fate (see above), Embeth is shot by Bill Heck while struggling with Campbell Scott while the plane nosedives. She dies as Campbell watches.

TV Deaths[]

  • Deadly Matrimony (Shattered Promises) (1992; TV Movie) [Diane Masters]: Bludgeoned in the back of the head with a fireplace poker by Treat Williams. Her body is shown again when Treat shows her to John M. Jackson. John then puts the body in the trunk of her car and then shoots her in the head to make it look like a hit before finally pushing the car into a lake.
  • Ray Donovan: Rattus Rattus (2016) [Sonia Kovitzky]: Shot in the head (off-screen) by Raymond J. Barry. Her body is later shown in the morgue.
