- 2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984) [Maxim Brailovsky]: Sucked in by the Monolith energy stream when it opens with a burst of energy, sending Max's pod spinning off into space, while John Lithgow watches helplessly.
- The Name of the Rose (1986) [Severinus]: Bludgeoned to death with an armillary sphere by Volker Prechtel.
- DeepStar Six (1989) [Burciaga]: Electrocuted and dies of head injuries when the prehistoric amphipod rams the complex he is in.
- Air Force One (1997) [Andrei Kolchak]: Shot repeatedly in the chest and head with a machine gun by Harrison Ford while Ford is struggling with Levan Uchaneishvili over the machine gun.
- October Sky (1999) [Ike Bykovsky]: Killed (off-screen) in an underground mine collapse. His body is brought to the surface and seen by Jake Gyllenhaal.
