- Phantom of the Opera (1943) [Biancarolli's Maid]: Killed (exact method unclear) along with Jane Farrar by Claude Rains in Jane's dressing room. As Claude attacks Jane first, the scene cuts away to the outside of the dressing room as we hear screaming. Their bodies aren't shown. The stagehand exits the dressing room after responding to the commotion and informs the concerned crowd (including Susanna Foster) that Elvira and Jane have been murdered.
