Film Deaths[]

Kotch (1971) [Vera Kotcher]: Dies (off-screen) of natural causes some unspecified time before the start of the movie; she occasionally appears throughout the film in Walter Matthau's flashbacks to his younger days.
Harold and Maude (1971) [Sunshine Doré]: Appears to have accidentally committed suicide by stabbing herself in the stomach with a knife, after seeing Bud Cort doing the same. It is unclear if she was able to fake this death like Bud had done, or if she is actually lying dead.

CSI: Cats in the Cradle... (2002) [Ruth Elliott]: Stabbed in the chest by Courtney Jines, sometime before the episode begins. Her body is shown when cats were around her and the murder is shown in a flashback.
Bones: The Double Death of the Dearly Departed (2009) [Anne Reilly]: Dies (off-screen) of a heart condition.
