- The Doctor (1991) [June Ellis]: Dies (off-screen) of a brain tumor in the hospital. We last see her lying in a coma when William Hurt visits her one last time.
- Finding Nemo (2003; animated) [Coral]: Providing the voice of a clownfish, she is eaten by a barracuda (off-screen), along with all but one of her eggs; her death is revealed when her husband (voiced by Albert Brooks) discovers that they're gone.
- The Ring Two (2005) [Dr. Emma Temple]: Commits suicide by injecting herself in the neck with an air bubble after being controlled to do so by the possessed David Dorfman.
- Another Simple Favor (2025) [Margaret McLanden]: Suffocated with a pillow by her sister (Allison Janney).
