- Hamlet (1948) [Queen Gertrude]: Poisoned when she drinks from a goblet of wine that Basil Sydney had intended for Laurence Olivier, she dies shortly afterwards while talking to Laurence.
- Hamlet (1964) [Queen Gertrude]: Poisoned when she drinks from a goblet of wine that Alfred Drake had intended for Richard Burton.
Television Deaths[]
- All My Children (December 19, 2008) [Myrtle Fargate]: Although she did not appear, she died in her sleep of a heart attack (off-screen). (Herlie had died October 8, 2008 of pneumonia, so her character's death was written to the show.) She last appeared on-screen on June 23, 2008, four months before her passing.
