- The People That Time Forgot (1977) [Bowen Tyler]: Shot in the stomach with an arrow by the native inhabitants, he dies (off-screen) after the group leaves him.

- Prime Suspect (Trauma) (1989) [Dr. Brand]: Falls to his death from a window at the end of a struggle with Tom Bresnahan.

- In the Heat of the Night: Time's Long Shadow (1994) [Frank Davenport]: Shot in the chest by Dave Hager, while Dave is searching for his daughter (Amy Hess); he later dies in the hospital (off-screen).
- Burke's Law: Who Killed the Highest Bidder? (1995) [J. Ross Richardson]: Throat slashed (off-screen) by Charles Shaughnessy. His body is shown afterwards when his housekeeper discovers him. (Note: this episode aired after Doug's real-life death)
