Doris Lloyd in The Lodger
Doris Lloyd (1896 - 1968)
Film Deaths[edit | edit source]
- Night Monster (1942) [Sarah Judd]:
- The Lodger (1944) [Jennie]: Throat slashed (off-screen) by Jack the Ripper (possibly Laird Cregar) in her apartment; we only see her backing away in terror as he approaches. (The movie leaves it ambiguous as to whether Laird was actually the Ripper or a completely unrelated suspicious character.)
- Scotland Yard Investigator (1945) [Emma Todworthy]: Stabbed with a sword by Erich von Stroheim, after she shoots him.
- Kind Lady (1951) [Rose]: Killed (off-screen) by Keenan Wynn; we learn of her death afterwards when Keenan informs Maurice Evans. (Thanks to Adam)
