- The Lost Continent (1968) [Sparks]: Accidentally hanged by the ships ropes.
- Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (1990) [Claudius]: Stabbed in the stomach with a poisoned sword by Iain Glen, then forced to drink a cup of poisoned wine he himself had poisoned.
- Great Expectations (1999) [Compeyson]: Run over by a steamboat and mangled in its propeller while fighting with Bernard Hill in the water.
Television Deaths[]
- Jesus of Nazareth (1977) [Aram]: Executed by crucifixion, beside Robert Powell's cross.
- Dracula (2006) [Alfred Singleton]: Commits suicide by shooting himself in the head to avoid being killed by Marc Warren (off-screen); we only hear the gunshot. His body is shown when Tom Burke finds him and again after Tom, Stephanie Leonidas, and Dan Stevens discover him in a different location.
- Being Human: All God's Children (2010) [Kemp]: Apparently killed when he is swept through an otherworldly doorway created by Lenora Crichlow.
- Game of Thrones: Valar Morghulis (2012) [Maester Luwin]: Speared in the stomach and left to die by Ralph Ineson; Donald remains alive long enough to say his farewells to Isaac Hempstead-Wright, and Art Parkinson, before being mercy-killed (off-screen) at his own request by Natalia Tena.
