Film Deaths[]

  • Ramrod (1947) [Bill Schell]: Shot twice in the back with a shotgun by Preston Foster. (Thanks to Brian)
  • Dark City (1950) [Arthur Winant]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by hanging himself in his hotel room, after losing all his money in a poker game with Ed Begley, Charlton Heston and Jack Webb. We learn of his death afterwards when Charlton and Lizabeth Scott read about it in the newspaper.
  • Battle Hymn (1957) [Capt. Dan Skidmore]: Badly injured when he lands his plane (due to a graze on the cheek from a Japanese fighter). He later dies of injuries with Rock Hudson at his side.
