Film Deaths[]
- Bird of Paradise (1932) [Luana]: Jumps into a volcano (off-screen) as a human sacrifice.
- María Candelaria (1943) [María Candelaria]: Stoned to death by a group of angry villagers. Before dying she is comfort by her lover Pedro Armendáriz. Her body is then carried in a flower-decorated canoe in a funeral procession led by Armendáriz.
- La selva de fuego (1945) [Estrella]: Shot in the stomach by Miguel Inclán. She dies in the arms of her lover Arturo de Córdova.
- La Otra (The Other One) (1946) [Magdalena Mendez/Maria Mendez]: Playing a dual role as twin sisters, one sister is killed by the other with a shot in the head.
- Deseada (1951) [Deseada]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by throwing herself into a cenote as a result of a broken heart. We only see the water movement after she jumps.
- Flaming Star (1960) [Neddy Burton]: Shot in the lower chest and upper stomach by Douglas Dick while Delores is riding back home with her son (Elvis Presley). The next day Elvis is trying to get a doctor, she gets out of bed and wanders out into the prairie, where she dies in John McIntire’s arms after he finds her.
