- Black Legion (1937) [Ed Jackson]: Shot in the back by Humphrey Bogart, when he tries to escape.
- The Fighting 69th (1941) [Lt. “Long John” Wynn]: Either Killed by German Motor shells or Buried alive; he is last seen in the bunker and only one American Solider comes out alive after it had the debris blocking them from escaping.
- The Mummy's Tomb (1942) [Steve Banning]: Strangled by Lon Chaney Jr.
- Fort Apache (1948) [Sgt. Quincannon]: Killed in combat as the group is overrun by Apache warriors.
- Please Murder Me! (1956) [Joe Leeds]: Shot to death (off-camera) by Angela Lansbury. We hear the shot outside her room. His body is shown (covered by a sheet) while the police investigate.
- Taggart (1964) [Adam Stark]: Beaten to death with a gun butt by Dan Duryea; he dies in his daughter Jean Hale's arms shortly afterwards.
