Film Deaths[]

  • Casper (1995) [Casper]: Dies from an illness (likely pneumonia, which was very deadly before the discovery of antibiotics) after staying out too late in the cold. (Devon plays Casper as he appeared in life, but throughout most of the movie, the ghost was a CGI effect voiced by Malachi Pearson).
  • Final Destination (2000) [Alex Browning]: Although Devon survives the actual movie, the DVD includes an alternate ending in which he is electrocuted and burned to death when he grabs a power cable in order to save Ali Larter. (He is also burned to death in the plane explosion, which he avoids when he gets off the plane.)
  • Final Destination 2 (2003) [Alex Browning]: Whilst Devon does not actually appear in the sequel, it's revealed that he was hit on the head by a falling brick between the two films; a news report about his death is shown on a computer monitor when Ali Larter informs A.J. Cook about his death.
  • 388 Arletta Avenue (2011) [Bill Burrows]: Stabbed (off-screen) by Nick Stahl during a struggle as Nick believed Devon is responsible for kidnapping Mia Kirshner and wreaking havoc in his life.
  • A Resurrection (2013) [Travis Blair]: Decapitated with an axe by Patrick de Ledebur after Devon shoots J. Michael Trautmann, as Mischa Barton watches in shock.
  • Escape Plan 3: The Extractors (2019) [Lester Clark Jr.] Falls to his death after having his throat slit by Sylvester Stallone in retaliation for slit Jaime King's throat.
  • Hunter Hunter (2020) [Joseph Mersault]: Slaughtered (off-screen) by Nick Stahl. His body is later found by Camille Sullivan.
  • Heart Eyes (2025) [Detective Zeke Hobbs]: Crotch cleaved in half and slashed in the head with a machete by Alex McColl (doubling for Yoson An).

Music Video Deaths[]

  • "Stan" (2000) (Eminem music video) [Stanley "Stan" Mitchell]: Commits suicide by driving his car over a bridge into the river (with Dido tied up in the trunk), after recording a message to Eminem.
