- Blow Out (1981) [Manny Karp]: Hit on the head with a wine bottle by Nancy Allen, breaking it. (I'm not sure if this was intended to be fatal, but I'll list it in case.)
- Psycho II (1983) [Warren Toomey]: Stabbed to death by Claudia Bryar in the motel office; the scene cuts to an exterior shot of the office after the first slash down Dennis' face.
TV Deaths[]
- Hill Street Blues: A Hill of Beans (1983) [Detective Sal Benedetto]: Commits suicide (off camera) by shooting himself at the end of a face-off with the other officers. (Dennis later rejoined the series as the completely different character Norman Buntz.) (Thanks to Mac)
- Hunter: The Snow Queen: Part 2 (1985) [Sgt. Jackie Molinas]: Shot twice by Fred Dryer just as he was about to shoot Lycia Naff causing him to fall into Dennis Farina's swimming pool.
Music Video Deaths[]
- "Goodbye Earl" (2000) (The Chicks music video): [Earl]: Dies after eating a bowl of black eyed peas that were poisoned by his wife (Jane Krakowski) and Lauren Holly due to Dennis abusing Jane. The zombified Dennis is later seen in the dance scene at the end of the video for comic effect.
