Del Henney in Joseph Andrews
Del Henney (1935 - 2019)
Film Deaths[]
- Straw Dogs (1971) [Charlie Venner]: Throat crushed/slashed when Dustin Hoffman sets up a bear trap to close on Del's neck. (See also Alexander Skarsgard in the 2011 version.)
- Brannigan (1975) [Drexel]: Shot in the back (with a silenced gun) by James Booth while sitting in John Wayne's hotel room. We only see a glimpse of the gun going off, followed by John coming and discovering him dead.
- Joseph Andrews (1977) [Didapper's Valet]: Hit on the head with a large stick by Peter Firth after Peter finds Del trying to rape Natalie Ogle in the woods. (I couldn't tell whether the blow was supposed to be fatal or not, but I thought I'd list it just in case.)
TV Deaths[]
- The Professionals: A Man Called Quinn (1983) [Quinn]: Killed in a car crash/explosion when he drives into a storage cabin after being drugged. (Thanks to Brian)
- Doctor Who: Resurrection of the Daleks (1984) [Colonel Patrick Archer]: Shot with an energy beam during a battle with the Daleks.
