- Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970) [Cornelius]: Killed, along with everyone else on the planet when Charlton Heston detonates the doomsday bomb. [NOTE: although the next sequel, Escape from the Planet of the Apes revealed that the character (now played by its original actor, Roddy McDowall) by escaping in a spaceship, then going through a time warp to year 1973, It's very clear this was intended to be an actual character death at the time of filming]. [also note: Sal Mineo's 'Dr. Milo' character in that film, hadn't yet existed at the time this film was being made, so he would be discounted].
