David Soul (1943 - 2024)
Film Deaths[]
- Magnum Force (1973) [Officer John Davis]: Falls to his death when his motorcycle accidentally drives off the dock and into the ocean (which is shallow with hard rocks) while in a motorcycle chase with Clint Eastwood.
- The Hanoi Hilton (1987) [Oldham]: Dies in a cell from illness as he lies on a bunk bed after saying "I'm fine." Fellow POW and cell mate Paul Le Mat looks on, closes his eyes and prays over his body.
- Pentathlon (1994) [Heinrich Mueller]: Shot in the stomach by Dolph Lundgren when David was about to kill him in the Olympic pentathlon.
TV Deaths[]
- World War III (1982 miniseries) [Col. Jake Caffey]: Killed, along with Jeroen Krabbé, when a rogue Soviet soldier throws a grenade at them.
- In the Line of Duty: The F.B.I. Murders (1988) [Michael "Mike" Lee Platt]: Shot to death (along with Michael Gross) by Ronald G. Joseph at the end of the gunfight.
- The Hitchhiker: Renaissance (1989) [Cooper Halliday]: Possibly killed by either Jean-Pierre Stewart or Vernon Dobtcheff. We don't actually see him get killed, but Page Fletcher's closing monologue seems to imply his fate.
- Perry Mason: The Case of the Fatal Framing (1992) [Truman York]: Hit on the head with a sculpture by Scott Valentine.
- Murder, She Wrote: Threshold of Fear (1993) [Jordan Barnett]: Stabbed in the chest by David Lansbury in an alley.
