- Vikings: A King's Ransom (2013) [Lord Athelwulf]: After being captured by the Norsemen, David is held for ransom. When his brother King Aelle (Ivan Kaye) refuses to pay a ton of gold and silver and instead attacks the Norse camp where he is defeated, David's throat is cut (off-screen) byTravis Fimmel. His body is shown when the Vikings send it on a horse pulled litter back to the King's villa.
