- Wolf Children (2012; anime) [Wolf Man]: Falls to his death (off-screen) while hunting in his wolf form in Tokyo. We learn of his death when Hana (Colleen Clinkenbeard) see the police recover his body and throwing it into a garbage truck. (For the Japanese version, see Takao Ohsawa).

- Golgo 13: The Glass Fortress (2010; anime) [J.J.]: Killed by a richochet shot to the head fired by Duke Togo (David Wald).
- Another: Sphere Joint (2012) [Shoji Kubodera]: Commits suicide by stabbing himself in the throat in front of his horrified students. He reappears in Body Paint as a ghost in a nightmare sequence of Kouichi (Greg Ayres) where he, Ikou (Blake Shepard), Sanae (Carli Mosier), Yukari (Brittney Karbowski), and Houston Hayes blame Kouichi for their deaths. - Attack on Titan: Midnight Sun (2019; anime) [Bertholdt Hoover]: Fed to a Titanized Armin (Jesse James Grelle) by Levi (Matthew Mercer), to transfer his shifting abilities onto him; he dies while screaming for his friends.
- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stone Ocean: Prisoner of Love (2021; anime) [Johngalli A.]: Killed by Enrico Pucci (Yong Yea) through his Stand, White Snake, when the Stand shoots him in the head with his own gun.
