Film Deaths[]

The Penthouse (1989) [Joe Dobson]: Falls from a balcony at the end of a struggle with Robin Givens. (Thanks to Michael)
Cube (1997) [David Worth]: Stabbed repeatedly in the stomach by Maurice Dean Wint; the movie ends with David lying on the floor of the cube, next to Nicole de Boer's body.
The Life Before This (1999) [Nick]: Shot in the chest in a gunfight with Joel Keller in a cafe. (After the opening scene, the movie "rewinds" to the start of the day, leading up to an alternate outcome; David dies in both versions of the shoot-out.)
Splice (2009) [William Barlow]: Slashed to death by Delphine Chaneac (who swoops down and drags him into the sky); his body is found later on when Sarah Polley, Adrien Brody and Brandon McGibbon find it in a tree.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) [Huniskier]: Dies (off-screen) from a viral infection after an infected Tyler Labine sneezes on David after Tyler had been scratched earlier by one of the apes; the film ends with David leaving for a plane, but given Tyler's death, his is certain.

Friday the 13th: The Series: Tales of the Undead (1988) [Cal]: Stabbed to death with a pointed trophy by Ray Walston, while David is trying to kill Ray after transforming into a robot (the trophy is the robot's only weakness).
Murdoch Mysteries: The Accident (2017) [Dilton Dilbert]: Fatally injured when Ian Lake deliberately crashes his car into him (staging it to look like an accident), pinning David against a carriage, with only the pressure of the car against his body keeping David from bleeding out. He dies after the car is finally moved, as Helene Joy attempts to stop the bleeding and with Angela Vint kneeling by his side.
Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities: Graveyard Rats (2022) [Masson]: Swarmed by rats after he's trapped inside a coffin and can't break out. His body is seen shortly afterwards when the coffin is opened, with rats coming out of his mouth.
