- In the Heat of the Night: Pilot, Part 1 (1988) [Willie Jones]: Hanged to death in his jail cell (off-screen) by Chuck Hicks (in a murder for hire for Kevin McCarthy). His body is seen (staged to appear as though he committed suicide) when Howard E. Rollins Jr. discovers him, and again in the morgue.
