Film Deaths[]
- The World Is Not Enough (1999) [Sir Robert King]: Killed in an explosion when a booby-trapped money bomb (later revealed to have been set up by both Maria Grazia Cucinotta and his daughter (Sophie Marceau)) goes off, after Pierce Brosnan fails to warn him in time. His funeral is shown after the titles sequence.
- The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) [Professor Roger Wilson]: Decapitated by Jet Li, with a single strike from Jet's heated up hand, when David attempts to escape alongside Jet in a carriage.
- National Theatre Live: Julius Caesar (2018) [Caesar]: Shot in the chest by Adjoa Andoh and Michelle Fairley, while David is giving a speech. David is mortally wounded by these shots, before Ben Whishaw arrives and aims his gun at David, who raises his hands allows Ben to shoot and kill him. David's killers then rub his blood on their hands, in order to tell the people of Rome of David's death.
Television Deaths[]
- Edward II (1970; TV) [Young Spencer]: Executed (off-screen) on Timothy West's orders.
- Jason and the Argonauts (2000; mini-series) [Argos]: Killed by Dennis Hopper's soldiers during the final battle.
- The Mists of Avalon (2001; TV) [King Uriens]: Dies of old age/natural causes.
- Spooks (MI-5): The Rose Bed Memoirs (2002) [Sergei Lermov]: Stabbed in the chest by an assassin beside a fountain at night, with the assassin claiming this is because he betrayed the Russians.
- Midsomer Murders: Birds of Prey (2003) [George Hamilton]: Stabbed through the abdomen with a spear by Alexandra Gilbreath.
- Titanic: Episode 4 (2012; Mini-series) [Captain Smith]: Drowns (off-screen) during the sinking of the RMS Titanic. He is last seen on the bridge, having chossen to remain behind and go down with the ship
- Father Brown: The Three Tools of Death (2014) [Sir Aaron Armstrong]: Commits suicide (off-screen) by jumping from a window; Andrew Knott then drags his body to the garden and arranges the scene to look like murder, to prevent David's daughter (Alice Henley) from blaming herself. His body is shown afterwards when Mark Williams discovers him in the garden.
- Utopia: Season 2, Episode 6. (2014) [Dobri Gorski]: In protective custody in a prison cell, he is burnt to death when Steven Robertson uses the hose on a petrol tanker to flood the cell with petrol via the ventilation shaft and sets it alight.
- Inside No. 9: Once Removed (2018) [Percy]: Poisoned by Reece Shearsmith.
- Time: E3 (2021) [John Cobden]: Dies (off-screen) in hospital after a heart attack. We find out when his prisoner son Sean Bean is informed by the prison chaplain.
