- The Shortcut (2009) [Mark]: Beaten to death with a sledgehammer by William B. Davis.
- Charlie St. Cloud (The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud) (2010) [Sully]: Killed in combat (off-screen) in Iraq. He appears as a spirit to Zac Efron in the cemetery and is revealed as a ghost when we see another character's viewpoint showing Zac talking to nobody.
- Fright Night (2011) [Mark]: Bitten and drained of blood by Colin Farrell, transforming him into a vampire. He is later restored to life after Colin is killed.
- Warm Bodies (2013) [Perry Kelvin]: Mauled to death by the zombie Nicholas Hoult.
- 6 Underground (2019) [Six]: Impaled on the end of a forklift after he crashes the car that he, Ryan Reynolds, Melanie Laurent and Adria Arjona are in.
- Love Lies Bleeding (2024) [J.J.]: Head bashed in by Katy O’Brian, his body is later dumped down a cliff.

- Other Space: Getting to Know You (2015) [Chad Sampson]: Explodes after Bess Rous ejects him into space upon being exposed as an alien. (Played for comic effect.)
- The Afterparty (2022) [Eugene "Xavier" Duckworth, Jr.]: Xavier plummets to his death from a cliffside within the first minute of The Afterparty.
