- Kingpin (1996) [Calvert Munson]: Dies (off-screen) 10 years before present day 1996. He is last seen in 1979 wishing his son (Woody Harrelson ) goodluck before Woody goes out into the world to pursue his future in bowling. 17 years later in 1996, when Woody and Vanessa Angel visit his father's gas station in Woody's hometown, he mentions his father died 10 years ago and that he didn't have the nerve to come home for the funeral.
- Me, Myself, and Irene (2000) [Dickie Thurman]: Shot in the back with a lawn dart by Michael Bowman while Daniel is holding Renee Zellweger hostage at gunpoint on a bridge and tries to shoot Jim Carrey. He then falls off the bridge into the river below still clinging onto Renee, just before Jim jumps in to rescue her (played for comic effect).
