- Matt Houston: X-22 (1982) [Wildcat Callahan]: Shot to death by Fred Biletnikoff after he shot Lee Horsley who was wearing a bullet-proof vest.
- Dynasty: The Proposal (1985) [Walter Lankershim]: Although he does not appear in this episode, it is mentioned by Pamela Bellwood that he passed away (off-screen, exact caused of death unspecified), and that she inherited his oil well. Dale last appeared on-screen in the episode "The Beating" back in the first season in 1981.
