  • The Temptations (1998; TV Movie) [Melvin "Blue" Franklin]: Dies of lung cancer and a seizure while getting short ribs for Jenifer Lewis and Charles Malik Whitfield, and his funeral takes place the next scene where Smokey Robinson sings a song called "I'm Gonna Really Miss You".
  • 24: Day 6: 11:00 P.M.-12:00 A.M. (2007) [Wayne Palmer] Collapses from a brain hemorrhage due to a bombing-related injury while holding a press conference. D.B.'s fate was left ambiguous at the time of the episode, but his death is ultimately confirmed in 24: Redemption.
  • 24: Redemption (2008) [Wayne Palmer]: Although D.B. does not appear in Redemption, it is revealed in a newspaper article that D.B. has succumbed to his bombing-related injuries during 24's Day 6.
