  • Lord Jim (1965) [Cornelius]: Killed, along with James Mason, when Peter O'Toole fires at them the ceremonial cannons stuffed with gold and jewels which they had come to steal.
  • OSS 117: Murder for Sale (Pas de roses pour OSS 117) (1968) [Il Maggiore]: Shot by George Eastman
  • The Assassination Bureau Limited (1969) [Gen. Von Pinck]: Presumably falls out of his Zeppelin, while sword fighting with Oliver Reed (after Curd accidentally strikes the zeppelin, poisoning/knocking himself out with hydrogen).
  • The Mephisto Waltz (1971) [Duncan] His body dies after switching spirits with Alan Alda; his spirit lives on in Alan's body
  • The Vault of Horror (1973) [Sebastian]: Strangled/hanged by a magical rope, after it kills Dawn Addams. (he appears as a spirit who is the only one in the group aware of his death and he's stranded in limbo).
  • The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) [Karl Stromberg]: Shot twice in the crotch with a handgun by Roger Moore under Curd’s dining table, then twice more in the chest, after Curd attempts to kill Roger with a hidden rocket launcher.

Television Deaths[]

  • Tatort: Rot – rot – tot (1978) [Konrad Pfandler]: Commits suicide by shooting himself after the police found out about his murder of his wife, Renate Schroeter.
  • Smiley's People (1982) [General Vladimir]: Shot in the back of the head offscreen in Hampstead Heath. His body is shown to Alec Guinness by police.
