Plot Synopsis[]
After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When childhood friend and former boxing prodigy Damian (Jonathan Majors) resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face-off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian--a fighter who has nothing to lose.

- In early 2020 it was reported that Creed III would be Michael B. Jordan's directing debut. He executive produced Creed II (2018).
- This will be the first film in the Rocky/Creed series to not feature Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa. With his absence, there will be no characters who have appeared in every film in the series.
- Jonathan Majors joins the cast for this installment of the Creed series and is joined by returning actors Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson, and Phylicia Rashad.
- During the training montage, a lyric in the song mentions the Marvel location Wakanda. Director/producer/star Michael B. Jordan plays a Wakandan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- The film will be released in the US by MGM via United Artists Releasing and internationally by Warner Bros. (who co-distributed the first two movies) on November 23, 2022. It is also the first Rocky film since Rocky V (1990) to go under the United Artists banner.
