  • A Patch of Fog (2015) [Sandy Duffy]: Drowned in a lake when he accidentally tied to a rope around the ankle with the body of Stephen Graham.

Television Deaths[]

  • Foyle's War: Elise (2015) [Sir Ian Woodhead]: Killed in an explosion when Ellie Haddington detonates a grenade in Conleth's office, after she learns he was responsible for the deaths of several agents.
  • Game of Thrones: The Bells (2019) [Lord Varys]: Burned alive (off-screen) by a dragon as an execution by Emilia Clarke after he betrayed her. We only see the fire as Emilia Clarke's men watch.
  • Magpie Murders: Episode 1 (2022) [Alan Conway]: Pushed from the tower/balcony of his mansion (off-screen) by Michael Maloney; his body is shown afterwards lying on the ground. The murder is later shown in a flashback in Episode 6 when the killer's identity is revealed.
  • Why Didn't they Ask Evans (2022; Mini-series) [Dr. Alwyn Thomas]: Hanged offscreen in his home, his body is discovered when the police inform Will Poulter, to which Will actually sees him hanging from the ceiling.
  • 3 Body Problem: Destroyer of Worlds (2024) [Pope Gregory XIII]: Playing a character in an alternate-reality style "video game", he burns to death, along with Eve Ridley, Phil Wang and Adrian Greensmith, after flames engulf the church they are in, as John Bradley and Jess Hong watch in shock.
