Street Kings (2008) [Coates]: Shot to death by Keanu Reeves during a chaotic shoot-out after Common shoots and kills Chris Evans and Keanu sees Common's reflection in one of the room's darkly lit mirrors.
Wanted (2008) [The Gunsmith]: Shot in the head when Angelina Jolie shoots a bullet that curves around killing him, a few other assassins and herself in an effort to save James McAvoy.
LUV (2012) [Vincent]: Shot in the chest by Danny Glover. He later kills Danny and Dennis Haysbert for betraying him and talks outside their house with Michael Rainey Jr. before succumbing to his gunshot wounds.
Run All Night (2015) [Andrew Price]: Shot in the head with a rifle by Liam Neeson, just as Common is about to shoot Joel Kinnaman.
Suicide Squad (2016) [Monster T]: Shot in the forehead with a handgun by Jared Leto, as a punishment for Common attempting to flirt with Margot Robbie.
Breathe (2024) [Darius Houston]: Commits suicide off-screen by willingly leaving an oxygenated chamber and walking off into a world without oxygen in order to save the air for Jennifer Hudson and Quvenzhané Wallis. His death is revealed when Jennifer shows Milla Jovovich his body.

Hell on Wheels: Elam Ferguson (2014) [Elam Ferguson]: Shot in the chest by Anson Mount.

Alicia Keys: Like You'll Never See Me Again (2008) [Boyfriend]: Is temporarily clinically dead after a motorcycle wreck in New York City, whilst in a hospital as Alicia Keys is by his side. It's revealed that Common was revived at the end of the music video.
