- Black Sunday (1977) [Freighter Captain]: Killed when his phone explodes as he answers it, in a trap that had been set-up by Bruce Dern.
- Meteor (1979) [Yamashiro]: Drowns when a tsunami wave caused by a meteor strike crashes through his office while Sean Connery looks on via video.
- The Challenge (1982) [Go]: Slashed with a sword by Toshirô Mifune after Clyde betrays Toshirô.
- Rising Sun (1993) [Shoji Tanaka]: Commits suicide by crashing a sports car at the end of a high speed chase with police officers.
Television Deaths[]
- Magnum, P.I,: Memories Are Forever (1981) [Colonel Ki]: Shot twice in the back by Tom Selleck just before he can shoot Marta DuBois.
- Mighty Max: The Maxnificent Seven (1993; animated) [Hanuman]: Killed (offscreen) by the Skullmaster (voice of Tim Curry) as he stays behind to stall him while Max (voice of Rob Paulsen) escapes.
- The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest: Ninja of the Zinja (1997; aniamted [Dr. Zin] :Supposedly dies in the opening with his twin daughters: Anaya (June Angela) and Melana (Lucy Liu) in attendance and fulfill their father's destiny. It turns out he faked his death, and was testing his daughters all along. A robot of him appears and then explodes.
- The Real Adventures of Johny Quest: The Robot Spies (1997; animated) [Dr. Zin (voice)]: Is presumably buried alive (off-screen), after being pinned down by a falling statue, when he fills his chamber with sand to kill John de Lancie (who escapes by burrowing to the surface in one of Clyde's robot spiders).
- Babylon 5: Thirdspace (1998) [Bill Morishi]: Shot in the back by Shari Belafonte, who was under the control of the Thirdspace aliens.
- Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Storm (2005; animated) [Pasang]: Killed by firebenders a hundred years before the events of the show; he only appears in flashbacks.
- Chuck: Chuck Versus Tom Sawyer (2008) [Mr. Morimoto]: Killed in an explosion after being forced by Faran Tahir to play Missile Command, rigged with a bomb, which will explode if he stops playing, after warning Zachary Levi and Adam Baldwin to get to safety.
