- Maigret: The Countess (1962) [Gautier]: Shoots himself off-camera with a shotgun after Rupert Davies has confronted him with the evidence that he was responsible for the death of Dorothy Black. We hear the shot after Rupert leaves him and then see his body on the floor next to the shotgun.
- Doctor Who: The Sea Devils (1972) [Trenchard]: Shoots five bullets into a Sea Devil while "defending" Roger Delgado when the creatures attack the prison. Is killed by the creatures off-screen. When we the Sea Devils enter Delgado's cell, the camera pans in on Morton's dead body lying in the corridor.
