- Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) [Camp Guard/Robin's Mistrel]: 'Robin's Mistrel' is killed (off-screen), along with the other minstrels, when the knights are forced to eat them to avoid starvation (and there was much rejoicing); his death is described in the narration over an animated scene of the mistrels being pulled behind a hill. (Played for comic effect)
