Film Deaths[]

Matinee (1993) [Ruth Corday/Carole]: Playing multiple roles, "Carole" is possibly killed (off screen) by the mutating William Schallert in the film within the film; her fate is never seen due to John Goodman cutting off the projector for a 'nuclear explosion', but it is possible ("Ruth Corday" survives the film).
Casper (1995) [Carrigan Crittenden]: Falls to her death when she gets out of her car after it crashes into a tree on the cliffside while she's arguing with Eric Idle. She reappears as a ghost until she finally crosses over after killing Eric (inadvertantly completing her "unfinished business") in front of Christina Ricci and Malachi Pearson. (Thanks to Drew)

Tales from the Crypt: Seance (1992) [Alison]: Heart torn out by John Vernon's ghost after she accidentally summons him for real during a con-game seance.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Intoxicated (2005) [Denise Eldridge]: Bludgeoned to death with a lamp (off-screen) by her daughter (Danielle Panabaker) during a fight; her body is shown afterwards as Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni investigate the crime scene. (Thanks to PortsGuy)
